Staff of Paediatrics Department, Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina during a day training exercise on the installation, usage and maintenance of CPAP machine held on Wednesday 18th June, 2025 at the Hospital’s facility.
The CPAP (Continuous Positive Airways pressure machine), is a medical device used in treating sleeping apnea and respiratory/ breathing disorders in new born especially preterm.
Also, the CPAP by Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is a world leading best equipment in the management of respiratory issues. FTHK is one of the very few hospitals in the country with the equipment.
